Supply & Demand Chain Executive Recognizes Three WSI | Kase Leaders in 2026 Women in Supply Chain Awards  

APPLETON, WI, August 19, 2026 – WSI | Kase, one of America’s largest privately-owned 3PLs, announced today that three of its leaders were recognized as winners of this year’s Women in Supply Chain Forum™ Award by Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Food Logistics. The award recognizes top female supply chain professionals whose accomplishments, mentorship and leadership set a foundation for women across all levels of the supply chain industry.

Brenda Knepper, Vice President of Human Resources for the WSI family of companies, was recognized in the Workforce Innovators category for her strategic work building the organizational infrastructure and talent development programs for the 3PL’s 800+ employees. After holding leadership roles in business operations and pricing, Knepper became WSI’s first woman in a VP position. In the last few years, she has focused on fair labor practices and built real advancement paths for all employees. Her leadership has strengthened WSI’s ability to attract and retain top talent across all levels of the organization, from material handlers to executive leaders.  

Nyssa Gardebrecht, Senior Business Analyst at WSI, received a Rising Star award for her strategic approach to solving warehouse and inventory technology challenges. She designs solutions built on configurable tech stack capabilities, prioritizing self-sufficiency for both WSI and its customers. In the past year, Gardebrecht led the design and deployment of WSI’s updated billing event framework. The solution reduced billing processing times and evolved into a strategic operational ledger used for customer rate renewals and business planning.  

Cecelia Pasos, Warehouse Manager for Kase, was recognized as a Trailblazer for her 30 years of expertise managing warehouse operations for retailers and manufacturers. Pasos partners closely with customers to identify workflow improvements and has a track record of stepping into struggling operations and restoring profitability while retaining critical customer relationships. Pasos is known for her use of visual KPI boards, productivity tracking systems, and setting clear performance expectations for both associates and managers.
