How WSI helps Dropps stay fresh across every channel
Sustainable growth means more than making great products. It requires delivering across every channel (DTC subscriptions, marketplaces, and big-box retailers) without missing a beat. But managing that mix? It can be complex. Retailers enforce strict compliance standards, consumers expect flawless subscription deliveries, and exceptional retail fulfillment demands both speed and scalability.
Dropps faced these challenges head-on as it expanded from a direct-to-consumer subscription brand into a national player, landing on shelves at Target, Wegmans, H-E-B, and Thrive Market while continuing to grow its Amazon and direct channels.
To keep pace, the household products brand needed a fulfillment partner that could flex with demand, protect the customer experience, and deliver cleanly on every order.
WSI built a flexible, retail-ready fulfillment solution that enabled:
- 99.9% order accuracy in 2025
- Retail expansion into Target, Wegmans, H-E-B, and Thrive Market
- Proactive compliance support to avoid costly chargebacks
Dropps: Clean, simple, sustainable
Founded on the belief that cleaning products should be effective without unnecessary waste, Dropps has grown from its origins as “Cot’n Wash” into a high-growth CPG brand offering eco-friendly laundry and dishwashing pods.
The company has built a loyal consumer base while rapidly expanding into marketplaces, B2B, and retail channels. Today, Dropps products are available across ecommerce platforms like Amazon and Thrive, in mom-and-pop shops, and on big-box shelves. What hasn’t changed is the company’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and a drama-free customer experience.
Scaling sustainably in a complex retail landscape
True omnichannel success means more than shipping quickly. It requires balancing the demands of ecommerce subscriptions, retail compliance, and marketplace growth without losing sight of quality and customer experience.
For Dropps, these challenges came fast. After years of managing their own fulfillment, Dropps expanded into retail in 2023. They added retailers like Target, Wegmans, H-E-B, and Thrive Market alongside their DTC and Amazon channels. The surge in complexity, including the need for subscription management and retailer compliance, required a partner that could scale with them while staying aligned with their values.
“We knew we couldn’t scale internally for the B2B side, so finding the right 3PL became critical. WSI stood out as a partner that wasn’t too big to lose sight of our needs, but big enough to grow with us,” said Erin Castro, Director of 3PL Fulfillment at Dropps.

From in-house to integrated
When Dropps transitioned from in-house fulfillment to WSI in 2024, the priority was clear: They needed a partner that could handle the rigor of retail compliance while supporting DTC growth.
WSI onboarded Dropps with a seamless integration into NetSuite, establishing a cleaner order flow and visibility. Retail fulfillment became more structured with FBA prep, case and pallet labeling, and strict retailer routing compliance, and DTC operations benefited from greater consistency and carrier support.
Beyond day-to-day fulfillment, WSI steps in for special projects that require extra attention. For example, the team built 2×2-inch “mini sampler” boxes holding two pods each, destined for trade shows and college campus programs. From sample packs to custom inserts, WSI provides the flexibility to execute one-off initiatives without disrupting Dropps’ core operations.
Castro said, “Openness is what comes to mind…WSI is open to trying new things, open to switching processes, open to tough conversations. That’s been a huge positive.” As the relationship grows, the Dropps and WSI teams are committed to working together for long-term success.
99.9% order accuracy at scale
For Dropps, subscriptions are a huge part of what keeps their business thriving, and timely delivery is key. Customers rely on Dropps to provide the products they use daily, and unlike a one-time purchase, a late or inaccurate subscription order risks disrupting routines and damaging brand loyalty.
To ensure subscription customers never miss a delivery, WSI leverages Dropps’ predictable volume to forecast and plan ahead. Subscription fulfillment runs smoothly, with minimal issues and 99.9% order accuracy in 2025. Even during surges like Prime Day or seasonal promotions, the team flexes capacity without disrupting the steady rhythm of recurring shipments.
“I’ve been impressed with the DTC side of the business,” said Erin Castro. “Shipments are going out on time, and if there are issues, they’re typically carrier-related, not fulfillment.” Operational visibility has also been a plus. No matter the channel, Dropps has eyes on what’s going on.

Delivering retail fulfillment wins
Behind the scenes, WSI provides Dropps with the structure and metrics to improve reliability across both retail and DTC.

Responsive, retail-ready fulfillment
Dropps’ growth depends on agility. WSI provides both the infrastructure and the expertise to flex during peak promotions like Black Friday/Cyber Monday and back-to-school, where volumes spike. And from subscription orders to complex retail compliance, WSI operates as an extension of the Dropps team. This drives reliable fulfillment today while building capacity for tomorrow.
“We meet weekly to monitor new initiatives and review process improvements. Then, during monthly meetings, we aren’t just about looking at numbers; we use these meetings to truly keep our teams connected and pointed in the same direction,” says Barry Fibiger, Customer Success Manager at WSI. “We go over the KPIs to see where we excelled and dig deep into what we need to learn from. Dropps also provides us with a marketing calendar so we can plan for any sales spikes and staff accordingly. It’s a solid way to ensure we’re always on the same page and working toward the same goals.”
Castro appreciates the WSI team’s communication. She said, “When something isn’t working, WSI comes back with a solution right away. That responsiveness is critical for us.”
What’s next for Dropps and WSI
Dropps continues to expand its retail footprint while maintaining strong DTC growth. With WSI as a partner, the focus ahead is on expansion into additional facilities like Fontana, CA, deeper integration of reporting tools, and even greater forward-thinking communication to stay ahead of surges and compliance requirements.
“Our goal is to be proactive together, not just reacting to issues. That’s the next step in our partnership,” Castro said. The mission remains simple: clean, sustainable products delivered on time, every time.
